Synopsis

If life were a football match, her first half was definitely that of a victory.

Wealthy Hay Man (Gigi LEUNG) quickly earns her first pot of gold as a financial consultant. However, having misplaced trust in an old friend, her business venture fails, forcing her to move from her mansion to her cousin’s family home. Despite this setback, Hay Man remains undeterred, setting a goal to earn back what she had lost as quickly as possible!

Hay Man’s old friend, Alex Nip, is a wealthy heir organizing a "U12 5v5 Football League". Struggling to prove himself to his father, Alex is anxious about how to attract public attention to the league. Hay Man seizes the opportunity to promise to help make the league a success. She learns that her cousin, Ying, who loves football, and several kids—OK (Rondi CHAN), Alam (Sahal ZAMAN), Fat B, and Lun —have formed a football team, and they recruit a former famous football player, Siu Ho (CHAN Charm Man Peter), who became disabled due to a traffic accident, to coach the team. Overnight, kind-hearted netizens flood the team with encouraging messages, and the team gain popularity online.

The league's opening match is about to begin, with Ying’s "Aspire Football Club" facing the heavily favored "Rising Sun Football Club." Ying firmly believes she can lead her teammates to victory, but despite her impressive skills, the team ultimately loses badly to their systematically trained opponents. Even though they fail in the initial match, Hay Man encourages the kids not to give up. Wanting the team to improve, she tries to find a more competent coach, but no one wants to take on such a defeated team. Reluctantly, Hay Man decides to coach the team herself. Lacking football knowledge, she can only train the kids in physical fitness and teamwork. Unbeknownst to her, she forms a genuine bond with the children.

In the final match, Ying faces the team that had thoroughly defeated them earlier, but she is unafraid because she knows the team has improved significantly. However, as the match begins, the team suffers another defeat. Both teams fight hard on the green field, displaying the happiest smiles, and Hay Man decides that she will use her second half to rewrite the first half for more children in need of help!
